OpenPipes console plans range from a portable single-manual to a three-manual full-size instrument. All designs use rectangular cuts compatible with a standard table saw or panel saw, and include complete parts lists ready for a cut shop. Available as pre-made downloads, designed from scratch in the OpenPipes Organ Designer, or built up with the parametric CAD tools below.

Pre-made Plans
Ready-to-build designs from a portable single-manual to a three-manual. Download DXF/PDF files and start building.

OpenPipes Organ Designer
Seven console types, parametric and rebuilt as you drag. Takes you from a preset to a STEP model, a nested DXF, a cut list, dimensioned A3 drawings and an assembly booklet — entirely in the browser.

FreeCAD Organ Workspace
A parametric FreeCAD workspace for laying out consoles, windchests, and pipework — and exporting cut sheets and printable parts.

Blender Add-on
A Blender add-on for modelling and visualizing pipe ranks and console designs before you build them.
Design Philosophy
Every OpenPipes console plan follows a core principle: you should be able to walk into a cut shop with a parts list and walk out with everything you need to build. The designs deliberately use mostly rectangular board shapes that can be cut on a standard table saw or panel saw—no CNC router required, no compound curves, no exotic joinery.
Each plan is fully compatible with the OpenPipes hardware ecosystem (both Pipe2C and legacy) and software stack (Pipebian, Webpipes). Mounting points, cable routing, and component clearances are all accounted for in the design.
